The background of this study is based on the still partial approach to PAI learning that tends to separate the spiritual, social, and national dimensions. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research, which analyzes various primary and secondary sources related to religious moderation, the concept of mahabbah in Islam, and national values in the Indonesian context. The results show that religious moderation functions as an epistemological framework, Panca Cinta as an ontological-axiological foundation, and national values as an orientation for social praxis. These three concepts have an interdependent relationship that can be constructed in an integrative learning model based on ontology-epistemology-axiology. This model produces transformative, inclusive, and contextual PAI learning, and is able to shape the religious-national character of students. This study provides a theoretical contribution to the development of PAI learning designs based on value integration that is relevant to the challenges of the plurality of Indonesian society.
Alim Bakhri, Dika Tripitasari, Muhdin Muhdin ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1545 Mon, 22 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0800 Comparative Analysis of the Role of Social Environment (Bandura) and Cultural Mediation (VYGOTSKY) in Character Education Literature http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1567
This Study aims to conduct a theoretical deconstruction of the mechanisms of student discipline formation by comparing two major perspectives: Albert Bandura's Social Learning Theory and Lev Vygotsky's Socio-Cultural Theory. The research method used is library research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data analysis was conducted through content analysis techniques on primary and secondary works relevant to both figures. The results of the study indicate that, according to Bandura, discipline is constructed through modeling and vicarious reinforcement mechanisms that culminate in the formation of self-efficacy. Meanwhile, Vygotsky emphasized that discipline is a product of the internalization of cultural values mediated by language and scaffolding within the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD). The conclusion of this study confirms that ideal student discipline is the result of a synergistic combination of imitation of appropriate role models and conscious internalization of cultural values. The implications of this study offer a framework for educational institutions to integrate aspects of the visual environment (role models) and dialogic interaction (interpretation of rules) in character education curricula
Musfirah Nadjamuddin, Dika Tripitasari, Muhdin Muhdin ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1567 Mon, 22 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0800 Study of Teacher-Student Interaction in Building Social Cohesion with Autistic Children http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1654
This study aims to analyze the forms of teacher interactions with autistic students, their impact on social cohesion between regular and autistic students, as well as factors that support and hinder the formation of social cohesion in inclusive learning at SD Inpres Benteng Jampea No. 57, Selayar Islands. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Research informants consist of class teachers and regular students who are directly involved in the inclusive learning process. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation, while data analysis uses the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that teacher interactions with autistic students take place through adaptive verbal communication, individual approaches, involvement in learning activities and group work, and providing emotional reinforcement during the learning process. These interactions have an impact on the development of social acceptance of regular students, involvement of autistic students in group work, the growth of peer empathy, and the role of teachers as social mediators in the classroom. Social cohesion is supported by the active role of teachers, the open attitude of regular students, group learning, social interaction habits, and inclusive communication, but is still influenced by the communication limitations of autistic students, teacher competence, inclusive facilities, and heterogeneous classroom conditions. Thus, teacher pedagogical interaction plays a crucial role in strengthening students' social cohesion in inclusive learning.
Yustina Yustina, Muamar Asykur, Hardiyono Hardiyono ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1654 Mon, 22 Jun 2026 05:41:22 +0800 Transformation of Social Values in the Problem Based Learning Model in Mathematics Learning http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1655
This study aims to analyze the transformation of social values through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, its impact on students' understanding of social values, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in mathematics learning. Nun Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren Nun) serves as an institution that accommodates children from these backgrounds by providing free living facilities and education. The boarding school aims to cultivate akhlakul karimah (noble character) among its students, enabling them to develop moral integrity, independence, and resilience in facing life’s challenges. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through (1) observation, (2) interviews, and (3) documentation. The data analysis process consisted of (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, and (4) conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that: (1) Pesantren Nun implements several strategies to foster akhlakul karimah among orphaned, underprivileged, and sabilillah students, including sentimental da’wah strategies (tazkiyatun nafs), rational da’wah strategies (tarbiyah dzatiyah), and sensory da’wah strategies (halaqah tarbawiyah). These approaches integrate spiritual, moral, and social dimensions to help students develop positive character and behavior. (2) The challenges encountered include student-related factors such as psychological conditions, the influence of advanced technology, inadequate parental attention, difficulties in student supervision, and diverse individual characteristics. Management-related challenges include the limited number of caregivers and their insufficient understanding of student development and guidance.
Mualamatul Musawamah, Wiwik Wijayanti ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1684 Wed, 24 Jun 2026 13:48:35 +0800 The Effect of Rubber Tire Modification Training on the Speed of the Sickle Kick of Naga Kembar Pencak Silat Athletes of Pasangkayu District http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1695
This study aims to determine the effect of tire modification training on increasing the speed of the sickle kick in Naga Kembar pencak silat athletes from Pasangkayu Regency. The method used was an experiment with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample consisted of 20 athletes determined through a total sampling technique. The instrument used was a 15-second sickle kick speed test, adapted from the pencak silat sickle kick ability instrument developed by Kamarudin, Zulrafli, & Irma (2023). The intervention program was implemented for 15 meeting sessions with a frequency of three times per week for five weeks, lasting from April 11 to May 14, 2026. Data analysis used the Paired Sample T-Test assisted by JASP software. The results of the Shapiro-Wilk normality test showed a normal data distribution (pretest: p = 0.371; posttest: p = 0.775). The results of the hypothesis test showed a t value = -12.06, df = 19, and p < 0.001, so the null hypothesis was rejected. The average speed of the sickle kick increased from 17.25 to 20.80 (an increase of 20.58%), with Cohen's d = 2.696 which is included in the large effect category. The conclusion of this study is that tire rubber modification training has a significant effect on increasing the speed of the sickle kick of the Naga Kembar pencak silat athletes of Pasangkayu Regency and can be used as an economical alternative method for developing achievements at the regional level.
Zulkifli Zulkifli, Didik Purwanto, Moh. Thus, the RTE model supports the formation of students' social values through participatory, communicative, and reflective learning experiences.
A Iqbal, Ali Hanafi, Muamar Asykur ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1658 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0800 Analysis of Smartphone Usage and Changes in Social Cohesion Patterns http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1659
This study aims to analyze smartphone usage and changes in students' social cohesion patterns at UPT SDI Barugaia No. 60, Selayar Islands. The focus of the study includes students' smartphone usage patterns, social cohesion patterns formed in their social lives, and changes in togetherness and social solidarity that emerge as a result of the use of digital devices. This study uses a qualitative approach with ethnomethodology studies. The research informants consisted of students as the main informants and teachers as key informants. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that students' smartphone use occurs collectively through online gaming activities, WhatsApp group communication, and sharing digital content that forms a new social interaction space outside the school environment. Students' social cohesion patterns are still formed through academic cooperation and friendships, but develop stronger in small groups based on shared digital experiences. In addition, students' togetherness and social solidarity have changed from physical game activities to solidarity based on digital communication networks through the practice of sharing hotspots, assignment information, and cooperation in online gaming activities. Thus, smartphone use does not weaken students' social cohesion, but transforms the form of togetherness and solidarity in the social relations structure of peer groups.
Rosmini Rosmini, Muamar Asykur, Muhammad Basir ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1659 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0800 Social Media Analysis as a Model for Internalizing Character ValuesLearners (Study at UPT SDI Karumpa Barat No. 105 Kep. In Islam, religious teachings originate from the Qur'an and Sunnah as normative foundations, while religious practices develop within diverse socio-cultural contexts. Therefore, anthropology has become an important approach in Islamic Studies because it enables scholars to understand how Islamic teachings are interpreted, practiced, and transformed within different cultural settings. This article aims to examine the role of anthropological approaches in understanding religion from a cultural perspective and their contribution to contemporary Islamic Studies. This study employs a qualitative library research method by analyzing the Qur'an, Hadith, classical and contemporary tafsir, anthropological literature, and recent scholarly publications. Data were analyzed using content analysis. The findings indicate that anthropological approaches provide significant contributions to explaining the interaction between religious texts and social realities. Anthropology enriches Islamic Studies by offering contextual, empirical, and culturally sensitive perspectives without neglecting the normative foundations of Islam. Furthermore, this approach supports the development of moderate, inclusive, and adaptive Islamic scholarship in responding to contemporary social and technological changes.
S. This article examines the history of modern Islam in Patani (Southern Thailand) and Mindanao (Southern Philippines) as two significant regions representing the dynamics of Muslim minority communities in Southeast Asia. This study employs a historical–qualitative approach using a literature review of contemporary historical, social, and political works. The findings indicate that modern Islam in Patani and Mindanao has been shaped not only by early Islamization processes but also significantly influenced by colonialism, state nationalist policies, educational modernization, as well as conflict and peace processes. In both regions, Islam has evolved as a religio-cultural identity that continuously negotiates with state power and global realities. The research method used is normative legal research with a statute approach and a conceptual approach. The data used are in the form of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials analyzed qualitatively through literature studies. The results of the study indicate that even though the employment relationship is not made in the form of a written employment agreement, workers still receive legal protection as long as they have fulfilled the elements of an employment relationship, namely the existence of work, wages, and orders. Based on the provisions of Law Number 13 of 2003, an employment relationship that is not stated in a written employment agreement, especially a Fixed-Term Employment Agreement (PKWT), can be considered an Indefinite-Term Employment Agreement (PKWTT). Employers remain responsible for fulfilling workers' normative rights, such as payment of wages, employment social security, working hours, leave, occupational safety and health protection, and the provision of severance pay in the event of termination of employment in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations. Thus, the existence of a written employment agreement provides legal certainty for both parties. However, the absence of a written employment agreement does not eliminate the employer's obligation to provide legal protection and fulfill workers' rights as stipulated in laws and regulations.
Anandasari Dinayah Anwar, J. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to gain an in-depth understanding of the implementation of the program. The participants of this study consisted of the boarding school caretaker, administrators, female teachers (ustazah), and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the habituation of a clean and healthy lifestyle is implemented through various routine activities, such as daily cleaning duties, communal cleaning activities (ro'an), maintaining the cleanliness of dormitory rooms and the boarding school environment, enforcing cleanliness regulations, and promoting healthy living habits. These programs are not only intended to create a clean, healthy, and comfortable environment but also serve as a means of instilling Islamic educational values in the students’ daily lives. Through these activities, students develop discipline, responsibility, cooperation, environmental awareness, and an understanding that cleanliness is an integral part of Islamic teachings. The success of the program is supported by clear boarding school regulations, the active role of administrators in guidance and supervision, the availability of adequate sanitation facilities, and strong cooperation among students. However, several challenges remain, including the low awareness of some students, differences in habits before entering the boarding school, and the large number of students, which makes supervision less optimal. Therefore, the clean and healthy lifestyle habituation program at Raudlatul Ulum 2 Islamic Boarding School has proven to make a positive contribution to the development of students’ character based on Islamic educational values.
Hakim Luqman, Nabila Ananda ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1733 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0800 Analysis of Conversational Structure in “Cerita Untungs” Podcast http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1304
Abstract

Podcasts are digital media where speakers communicate naturally, making them suitable for analyzing conversational structure. Although many studies explore conversations in classrooms, talk shows, and daily interactions, research focusing on Indonesian podcast, especially those discussing educational issues is still limited. Therefore, this study aims to identify and explain the five conversational elements proposed by Yule (2006): turn-taking, pauses, overlaps, back-channels, and adjacency pairs. The data were collected from a 36 minute episode of the Cerita Untungs podcast titled Kurikulum Pendidikan Indonesia Bikin Bodoh, Pak Nadiem Menteri Gagal, SMP Belum Bisa Baca?, which was transcribed and coded using a descriptive qualitative method. The results show 435 instances of turn-taking, 141 instances of pauses, 93 occurrences of overlaps, 153 back-channel responses, and 129 adjacency pairs. These features help organize the flow of the conversation and support the speakers in delivering their ideas clearly. The findings also indicate that the conversational patterns are influenced by the podcast’s informal communication style and its discussion of issues related to Indonesia’s education system. This study contributes to understanding conversational structure in digital media and highlights the role of Indonesian podcasts as platforms for public discussion on social and educational issues.
Siti Syarifatul Jannah, Norma Ita Sholichah ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1304 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0800 The Impact of Overtraining on the Mental State of Taekwondo Athletes at Jeonstugi Tadulako Club, Palu City http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1728
This study aims to examine the impact of overtraining on the mental condition of Taekwondo athletes at Jeonstugi Tadulako Club, Palu City. The research problem addressed was how overtraining affects the athletes’ mental condition during the intensive training period preceding competitions. This study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The informants consisted of 10 participants, comprising 8 Taekwondo athletes as the main informants and 2 coaches as supporting informants, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured in-depth interviews, audio/video recording, and documentation, and were validated through source and technique triangulation. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The findings show that training intensity increased substantially as competitions approached, causing most athletes to experience physical fatigue accompanied by mental pressure such as nervousness, tension, and psychological burden. Nevertheless, these conditions did not diminish the athletes’ motivation or concentration during training and competition; several athletes reported that pressure before competition even strengthened their motivation. Athletes applied various recovery strategies, including cooling down, adequate rest, regular sleep patterns, nutritious food intake, and sufficient fluid consumption, while coaches played an important role in designing training programs, monitoring athletes’ conditions, providing motivation, and maintaining both the physical and mental well-being of the athletes. It is concluded that overtraining does affect the mental condition of Taekwondo athletes, but its negative impact can be minimized through appropriate training-load management, optimal recovery practices, and continuous psychosocial support from coaches.
Nur Indah Khafifa Lingu Lembah, Kamarudin Kamarudin, Arief Aditya Rifandy, Andi Sultan Brilin Susandi E,W ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1728 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0800 Survey of Gross Motor Skills Among Grade III and IV Students at SDN 14 Balaesang http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1729
This study aims to determine the gross motor skill levels of third and fourth-grade students at SDN 14 Balaesang. The study employs a quantitative approach using a descriptive survey method. The research population consists of all third and fourth-grade students at SDN 14 Balaesang, totaling 47 students (21 in grade III and 26 in grade IV). A total sampling technique was used, meaning the entire population served as the research sample. The research instrument consisted of gross motor skill tests, including a one-leg standing balance test, a ball throw-and-catch test, a standing long jump test, and a 30-meter sprint test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, specifically mean values, standard deviations, frequencies, and percentages. The results indicate that the students' gross motor skills regarding balance, coordination, and leg muscle strength generally fall into the "good" to "very good" categories. Infrastructure and accessibility are important factors in the development of tourist destinations because they affect the comfort, safety, and experience of tourists during tourism activities. Bukit Salena as one of the sport tourism destinations has great potential for development, so it is necessary to evaluate the condition of the available infrastructure and accessibility. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sampling technique used accidental sampling, with a total of 20 respondents who have paragliding activities at Bukit Salena. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis in the form of percentages to describe the level of tourist satisfaction with infrastructure and accessibility. The results showed that the level of tourist satisfaction with infrastructure and accessibility at Bukit Salena was in the very good category. A total of 13 respondents (65%) gave a very good rating, 6 respondents (30%) gave a good rating, and 1 respondent (5%) gave a poor rating. These results indicate that the existing infrastructure and accessibility provide a sense of safety and comfort, and support tourist activities during paragliding at Salena Hill. However, improvements are still needed in several aspects, such as the quality of the road leading to the site, the completeness of public facilities, and the maintenance of supporting infrastructure to continuously enhance tourist satisfaction.
Nurlina Ambo, Humaedi Humaedi, Moh Wahyu Firmansyah, Moh Wahyu Firmansyah, Andi Sultan Brilin, Susandi Eka Wahyudi ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1727 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0800 Learning Strategies in the Era of Society 5.0 in Overcoming Students' Social Inequality http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1711
This research is motivated by the emergence of social gaps in students' learning in the Society 5.0 era, characterized by differences in access to technology, quality of learning experiences, social participation, and opportunities for self-development at SMPN 7, Sinjai Regency. This study aims to analyze teacher learning strategies, forms of social gaps in students, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in overcoming these gaps. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type, which was conducted at SMPN 7, Sinjai Regency. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation with key informants students and key informants teachers. The results show that the learning strategies implemented by teachers include differentiated learning, the use of learning technology, collaborative learning through heterogeneous groups, and providing motivation and appreciation to students. Forms of social gaps in students include gaps in access to learning, gaps in the quality of learning experiences, gaps in social participation in the classroom, and gaps in opportunities for self-development. Meanwhile, supporting factors include the availability of school technology facilities and teachers' digital competence, while inhibiting factors include differences in students' economic backgrounds and variations in students' learning motivation and digital readiness. The conclusion of this study shows that effective learning strategies must be supported by equal distribution of facilities, increased teacher competency, and an adaptive pedagogical approach to create inclusive and socially just learning.
Andriani Andriani, Ali Hanafi, Harifuddin Harifuddin ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ojs.staialfurqan.ac.id/IJoASER/article/view/1711 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0800
