Internalisasi Nilai-Nilai Karakter Religius melalui Program Pondok Pesantren Studi Eksplorasi SMA Islam Al Azhar 30 Salatiga

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of internalizing religious character values, evaluation in internalizing religious character values as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of internalizing religious character through the boarding school program at Al Azhar 30 Salatiga Islamic High School. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a phenomenological approach that emphasizes description. This research describes the data obtained from the results of the research in connection with the implementation of the boarding school program in moral development and religious character education of students. This research requires two types of data, namely primary data and secondary data. The data collection method uses observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained was checked and validated. The collected data is processed and analyzed using descriptive analysis, which is a method that describes reality in accordance with the data obtained. The steps in the analysis are reduction (data collection), display (data presentation), and conclusions. Based on the results of the research conducted, it shows that the internalization of students' religious character values is largely in the form of moral education, faith, and worship. The internalization process uses several methods, namely the method of habituation, exemplary, association, enforcing rules, and providing motivation. The evaluation process of this internalization is through direct observation or observation of students and conducting summative tests and formative tests. Supporting and inhibiting factors for the internalization of Islamic religious education values in instilling students' religious character come from internal factors, namely from the students themselves and external factors, namely from the surrounding environment.
