Aspek Perlindungan Hukum dan Pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah di Indonesia Perspektif Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 7 Tahun 2021 Tentang Koperasi dan UMKM
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the legal protection for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, and to analyze the legal protection and empowerment of MSMEs from the perspective of Government Regulation Number 7 of 2021 in Indonesia. This is a normative legal research, which focuses on the study of legal norms in legislation, legal doctrines, and legal theories.The results of the study indicate that the government provides legal protection for every citizen engaged in MSMEs; however, in practice, the implementation has not yet aligned with the legal provisions that MSME actors are supposed to receive. Legal protection and empowerment of MSMEs have been well regulated through the Job Creation Law and Government Regulation Number 7 of 2021, particularly concerning legal protection, as prior regulations did not comprehensively address legal protection for MSMEs.
