Halal Beauty sebagai Manifestasi Ekospiritual dalam Etika Konsumsi Islami bagi Generasi Z Muslimah

Abstract

The global beauty industry is experiencing rapid development with the emergence of the halal beauty phenomenon which is not only understood as a cosmetic product in accordance with sharia, but also as an ecospiritual manifestation in Islamic consumption ethics. The purpose of this research is to analyze and explain that halal beauty is an integration between religiosity and environmental concern, as well as the consumption practices of generation z muslim women that reflect Islamic values oriented towards social and ecological sustainability. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The results of the study show that halal beauty has developed into a consumption phenomenon that unites religious, ethical, social, and ecological dimensions in the lives of generation z muslim women. Their understanding of the concept of halal beauty is very strong, so it is not only seen as a product according to sharia, but also as a modern and ethical Islamic lifestyle. This positive attitude is reflected in the preference for halal-certified products, willingness to pay more, and high loyalty to halal products. Furthermore, halal beauty is understood as a manifestation of ecospirituality, where concern for the environment is integrated with responsibility to Allah, so that the consumption of environmentally friendly halal products provides inner peace and moral satisfaction. The implication of this study emphasizes that halal beauty is not just a market trend, but a symbol of the identity and commitment of generation z muslim women in shaping a religious, sustainable, and value-oriented Islamic consumption paradigm
