Kepastian Hukum Jual Beli Hak Atas Tanah Di Hadapan Pejabat Pembuat Akta Tanah
Abstract
The seizure of assets belonging to perpetrators of corruption is a critical This research examines the legal certainty of land rights sale and purchase transactions conducted before the Land Deed Official (Pejabat Pembuat Akta Tanah / PPAT). Land is a vital asset for human life, making legal certainty in land transactions crucial to prevent disputes and protect the rights of the parties involved. Using a normative juridical research method with a statutory and conceptual approach, this study analyzes the laws and regulations governing the duties and authorities of PPATs, as well as the procedures for transferring land rights. The findings indicate that the involvement of a PPAT provides formal legal certainty through the issuance of an authentic deed, which serves as strong evidentiary value in the event of a legal dispute. However, challenges remain in practice, such as administrative discrepancies and the need for thorough verification of land title authenticity. Therefore, strengthening the role and professional integrity of PPATs is essential to ensure complete legal certainty and protect public interests in land transactions.
