Model Konseptual Dana Sosial Islam sebagai Sumber Pendanaan untuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Otonom di Indonesia
Abstract
This research is based on the spirit of mutual cooperation to compromise the goal of providing quality educational services that are accessible to all levels of society. This research aims to build a new model for managing funding for state universities (PTN) which have undergone hybridization. The conceptualization of the model is based on a review of two groups of literature, namely literature related to the hybridization of educational institutions and literature related to Islamic social funds.The focus of this research is the role of social funds (zakat and waqf) as an alternative funding for Legal Entity State Universities (PTN-BH) and Public Service Agency State Universities (PTN-BLU). This research is a literature review related to the hybridization of PTNs in Indonesia and literature regarding Islamic social funds (ZISWAF). Data was taken through content analysis of credible national media reports. In addition, this research explores data from official government publications and higher education institutions. In building the model, literature on zakat and waqf was also analyzed to build a strong foundation.This research produces a conceptual model of Islamic social funds as an alternative to PTN funding. This proposed model can be adopted and developed by autonomous state universities in Indonesia, both PTN BH and PTN BLU. To implement this model, regulatory support from the government is needed.
