Optimasi E-Court (Elektronik Peradilan) sebagai Era Baru Peradilan Modern Berbasis Teknologi Informasi
Abstract
The Supreme Court and the Judicial Bodies under it are required to make significant changes in creating innovation in providing legal services in the Court. This is in line with the Decree of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, namely the New Era of Modern Justice Based on Information Technology, because this electronic system is able to change the way people think and behave (mindset and culture set). To realize this, the Supreme Court has realized e-Court (electronic justice) which is integrated with the Case Tracking Information System (SIPP) as a form of service to the community in terms of online case registration, online case payments, sending trial documents (replicas, duplicates, conclusions and answers), online summons and sending case files online and online copies of decisions. The goal is to realize the principle of simple, fast, and low-cost justice at all levels of the Judicial Body, so as to avoid a pile of cases, avoid corruption, collusion and nepotism, and realize judicial transparency. However, there are still many obstacles in the implementation of E-court so that an appropriate and accurate solution is needed. This writing uses a normative legal research method, because the target of this research is the law or regulation, namely the regulation regarding the validity of the Supreme Court Decision. The analysis method used is a qualitative method using authentic, grammatical and systematic interpretation.
