Penerapan Metode Ummi dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Bacaan Al Qur’an Santri di TPQ Salaamul Qur'an Sidodadi Kabupaten Lampung Timur
Abstract
Among the noble deeds is reading the Qur'an. A reader who recites the Qur'an well will be rewarded, and vice versa; someone who reads it incorrectly will commit a sin. We must thoroughly understand Maharaj and Tajwid before reading the Qur'an, as doing so will enable us to read the Koran with fluency, sufficiency, and accuracy. The ummi method is the approach employed in this activity, which aims to enhance children's and teenagers' comprehension of the Qur'an in TPQ Salaamul Qur'an Sidodadi. This exercise was conducted because the Ummi method proved to be a successful educational framework. Ultimately, it has the ability to directly listen, comprehend, and rectify the pronunciation of the hijaiyah letters for kids and teenagers in TPQ Salaamul Qur'an Sidodadi. The students can also feel more connected to the community with this guidance. Based on the findings of community empowerment initiatives, it can be said that children and adolescents in TPQ Salaamul Qur'an Sidodadi have a better understanding of the makhorijul letters and tajwid after receiving mentoring and instruction in the hijaiyah letters and the science of recitation. This will enable the students to read the Qur'an accurately and correctly and will assist the institutions that teach the Qur'an in raising the standard of reading the Qur'an for young people.
