Pemahaman terhadap Kurikulum Merdeka bagi Mahasiswa Praktik Mengajar 2 (PM2)
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the understanding of Teaching Practice 2 students towards the Independent Curriculum, and the implementation of the concept in the learning process at school. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The subjects of this study were 5 Teaching Practice 2 students who were selected by purposive sampling, while the research informants were mentor teachers, supervising lecturers, and the PM2 Committee. Data collection through source triangulation to PM2 students, and to mentor teachers or supervising lecturers, as well as the PM2 Committee, the results of which were analyzed thematically. The results of the study showed that most teaching practice students had a basic understanding of the Independent Curriculum by: increasing knowledge through the lecture process with the supervising lecturer, seeking information through articles and books related to the Independent Curriculum, and getting direct guidance from the field supervisor lecturer and mentor teacher who accompanied them during Teaching Practice 2 at school.
