Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Membina Akhlak Siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Makassar
Abstract
This research is intended to analyze, interpret and describe. Implementation of Islamic Religious Education in Building Student Morals at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Makassar. Islamic religious education as one of the subjects at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Makassar plays a very important role in developing students so that they will have good morals based on Islamic teachings. This research is a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include data presentation, data display and drawing conclusions. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of Islamic religious education in developing student morals at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Makassar. The research results show that: (1) There are several morals that are the focus of development at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Makassar, namely politeness and ethics, discipline, perseverance, cooperation and solidarity, responsibility and integrity. (2) The process of developing student morals at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Makassar is planning and implementation. Planning includes integrating Islamic religious education, developing special programs, coaching by teachers and counselors, implementing rules and sanctions, strengthening positive values and involving parents and the community. Implementations such as praying together before starting teaching and learning activities, having a taddarus of the Qur'an after teaching and learning activities and continuing with the habit of praying Dhuha. (3) As for students' morals after coaching through Islamic religious education at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Makassar, namely that they become students moral, students with strong character, increased discipline and sense of responsibility, stable emotional control, appreciation of Islamic religious values, and the formation of identity and self-understanding.
