Transformasi Diri Melalui Konseling: Studi Kasus Penguatan Mental Mahasiswa Selama Proses Perkuliahan

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of counseling in facilitating self-transformation and mental strengthening among university students throughout their academic journey. Students often face academic pressure, social demands, and emotional challenges that can affect their mental well-being. Using a case study approach, this research explores the experiences of several students who participated in campus counseling services. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that counseling provides a safe space for students to explore personal issues, discover their potential, and develop healthy coping strategies. The counseling process significantly contributes to enhanced mental resilience, learning motivation, and self-reflective attitudes. The self-transformation experienced includes shifts in mindset, increased self-confidence, and the reinforcement of positive values in facing academic challenges.
