Dekontruksi Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Islam Dalam Tradisi Tudang Sipulung di Desa Bonto Bunga Kecamatan Moncongloe Kabupaten Maros
Abstract
This study aims to deconstruct the Islamic educational values embedded in the Tudang Sipulung tradition in Bonto Bunga Village, Maros Regency. Tudang Sipulung is a traditional community deliberation forum passed down through generations, playing a strategic role in strengthening the social, cultural, and religious fabric of the local community. This research uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods to explore in depth the meanings, processes, and values embodied in the implementation of this tradition.The findings reveal that Tudang Sipulung is not merely a discussion forum, but also a medium for character and moral education aligned with Islamic values, such as ukhuwah (brotherhood), ta'awun (mutual assistance), musyawarah (participation and dialogue), collective responsibility, and social concern. These values are reflected in every stage of the tradition, from preparation, implementation, to follow-up of the deliberation outcomes. The deconstruction of these values shows that Tudang Sipulung can serve as a relevant model of non-formal education rooted in local context and capable of supporting character education based on Islamic principles.This study aims to deconstruct the Islamic educational values embedded in the Tudang Sipulung tradition in Bonto Bunga Village, Maros Regency.
