Peran Pembelajaran PAI dalam Tranformasi Otherworldly Peserta Didik Dewasa di (PKBM) Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Ceria Sumbermanjing Wetan

Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in changing the mindsets and beliefs of adult learners at the Ceria Sumbermanjing Wetan Community Learning Center (PKBM) in Sumawe. This study was conducted by describing the learners' learning experiences. The reason is that PAI is important for strengthening religious values ​​that are relevant to learners' daily lives, especially amidst the challenges of the digital world that requires technological skills while maintaining spiritual values. The research method used a qualitative approach by describing experiences, involving seven learners and an PAI tutor as the primary source of information. Data collection techniques included interviews, direct observation, and document writing. Next, the data were analyzed to understand the meaning of the learning experiences. The results showed that PAI learning significantly helped increase awareness of worship, strengthen moral and social values, and provide learning experiences relevant to daily life. Learners were also more active in religious activities. The role of teachers as facilitators, motivators, and role models significantly influenced learners' enthusiasm for learning and consistency in completing equivalency education. Factors that strengthen learning outcomes include a comfortable learning environment, family support, and the use of flexible and engaging digital technology. However, there are obstacles such as limited time, facilities, and understanding of religious terminology. This research confirms that the success of equivalency education in PKBM depends on the collaboration between student motivation, the role of the teacher, context-appropriate learning strategies, and support from the learning environment.
