Mengenal Ragam Penelitian Pendidikan : Suatu Tinjauan Komprhensif
Abstract
Educational research has a wide variety of varieties. These varieties differ not only in terms of method but also in field, objectives, approach, and form of application. To produce good research results, a researcher must first understand the various types and characteristics of educational research. The research in this paper is a qualitative study using a literature review method, namely the researcher conducted research by collecting and reviewing various literature sources discussing various types of educational research. The results of the study found that there are many varieties or types of research. Experts vary in their classification of these types of research. Some classify them based on method, objectives, approach, application, field of study, level of explanation, time, data type, process and method, function, and research location. However, not all types and varieties of research are suitable for application in educational research. Based on the author's analysis, there are only 40 types of research that can be applied in educational research.
