Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Academic Management Information System (SIM-Academic) at Sekolah Putri Darul Istiqamah Maros, South Sulawesi. The system is utilized to manage various academic activities, including daily data input, grade entry, input monitoring, extracurricular activities, alumni graduation records, class schedules, and laboratory management. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through observation and documentation studies related to the school’s academic data management. The findings indicate that the implementation of SIM-Academic improves administrative efficiency, accelerates the assessment process, and enhances transparency as well as academic monitoring. Supported by teacher and staff training, improvement of technological infrastructure, and the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP) and data security policies, SIM-Academic serves as a foundation for digital-based school management at Sekolah Putri Darul Istiqamah Maros.
