Abstract

This journal aims to interpret, analyze and describe the analysis of the values ​​of Islamic education in the A'ratek tradition at weddings in Gunung Silanu village, Jeneponto. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method with an ethnographic approach to describe the findings. The data collection techniques in this writing are observation, interviews (structured and semi-structured), and documentation as reinforcement. Meanwhile, the analysis used is data condensation, data display and conclusion drawing. The results of this research show that the concept of the A'ratek tradition in the Gunung Silanu village wedding event is divided into two concepts, namely preparation and implementation, the A'ratek tradition process in the wedding event is divided into two ammuntuli and the reading of the A'ratek book. The values ​​of Islamic education in the A'ratek tradition are divided into four, namely aqidah values, moral values, social values, and religious values.
