Upaya Guru Sosiologi Dalam Membina Kepribadian Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Sosiologi di MAN 2 Kota Makassar
Abstract
This study aims to find out about the efforts made by sociology teachers in fostering student personality and forming student personality, as for the obstacles faced by teachers in fostering student personality in Sociology Subject at MAN 2 Makassar City and this research also aims to determine behavior students of MAN 2 Makassar City to the conditions that exist in society. Researchers used several types of research approaches to data collection techniques including through observation, interviews and documentation. In this case, the research respondents taken were 2 (two) Sociology Teachers, the Principal and 10 students. The results showed that the sociology teacher's efforts in fostering student personality in Sociology class XI MAN 2 Makassar were manifested in the sociology teacher in the class. Among the teacher's efforts is to use lecture and discussion learning methods. Through the lecture and discussion learning method, the sociology teacher of class XI 2 Makassar. Attempting to instill student personality values so that students are accustomed to responsibility and tolerant attitudes in dealing with existing differences. However, from observations in the field of class XI 2 Makassar, sociology teachers face various obstacles in the existing learning process. Among these obstacles is the attitude and concentration of student learning in a class that is less orderly, less active in listening to subject matter and discussing in class.
