Mengampuni: Tinjauan Historis Kritis terhadap Matius 6:14-15
Abstract
Forgiveness is a call that should be carried out in human life. However, this is a challenge for humans to do in everyday life. Humans often only hope to receive forgiveness from God, but it is very difficult to extend forgiveness to others. Through a critical historical method of Matthew 6:14-15, a deep understanding of forgiveness can be found, not as a condition for obtaining forgiveness from God, but rather as a form of self-awareness as a sinful human being before God, who desperately needs His forgiveness. Excavation of this text provides a strong enough basis for building a theology of forgiveness and bringing God's reconciliation to God's fellow creatures. Forgiveness from God is a grace that every human being needs to respond too.
