Penanaman Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Islam Kepada Penerima Manfaat di Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Pusat Pelayanan Sosial Karya Wanita (PPSKW) Mattiro Deceng Dinas Sosial Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the concept of inculcating Islamic educational values among beneficiaries at the Technical Implementation Unit (TIU) of the Women's Social Welfare Center (WSWC) Mattiro Deceng, South Sulawesi Social Service Agency. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, this study utilizes data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation to draw conclusions. The primary objective of this research is to describe the concept of and analyze the implementation of Islamic educational values among beneficiaries at the aforementioned institution.The research findings indicate that: (1) The concept of inculcating Islamic educational values among beneficiaries at the Technical Implementation Unit (TIU) of the Women's Social Welfare Center (WSWC) Mattiro Deceng, South Sulawesi Social Service Agency, which has been implemented by social workers, has shown results, particularly through mental and spiritual recovery and rehabilitation programs, as well as religious education. (2) The process of inculcating Islamic educational values among beneficiaries at the TIU of WSWC Mattiro Deceng is carried out through mental and spiritual guidance, Al-Quran literacy guidance (BTQ), congregational prayers, listening to religious lectures, and JUMAYA (Friday Yasin) or regular Friday religious gatherings. (3) The results of inculcating Islamic educational values among beneficiaries at the TIU of WSWC Mattiro Deceng include: a change in their behavior as they had previously experienced a crisis of faith. Their perspective, which used to be one-sided, has changed, allowing them to view things from different perspectives and think more openly. They have gained a better understanding and appreciation of themselves, as evidenced by their more modest clothing compared to their previous casual attire, more polite language in communicating and interacting with friends, mentors, and other staff, and more regular religious practices such as performing the five daily prayers, fasting, studying the Quran, and enjoying religious lectures.
