Pembinaan Karakter Berbasis Al-Qur’an (Studi Living Al-Qur’an) terhadap Siswa MAN 2 Bulukumba

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Al-Qur'an-Based Character Development (Living Al-Qur'an Study) for Students of MAN 2 Bulukumba. The research method used by the researcher is a qualitative method with a case study type. This approach is used because the researcher wants to investigate in depth an event, activity, and process related to the Al-Qur'an-Based Character Development (Living Al-Qur'an Study) for Students of MAN 2 Bulukumba. The results of this writing indicate that Al-Qur'an-based character development for students of MAN 2 Bulukumba is very important. Among the characters that must be possessed by students of MAN 2 Bulukumba are honest students, trustworthy students, disciplined students, students who love the Al-Qur'an, students who help each other and students who always cover their genitals. Thus, Al-Qur'an-based character development for students of MAN 2 Bulukumba can be implemented well. Based on the method of character development based on the Qur'an for students of MAN 2 Bulukumba, both through activities such as Qur'an literacy, tadarrus al-Qur'an, tahfiz al-Qur'an and BTQ (reading and writing al-Qur'an) the researcher draws the conclusion that the character development based on the Qur'an for students of MAN 2 Bulukumba has been applied well so that the impact of the development for students of MAN 2 Bulukumba is that students are accustomed to reading the Qur'an and special surahs that are always read repeatedly such as surah Yasin, surah al-Waqiah, surah ar-Rahman and surah al-Kahfi can be memorized because they read it repeatedly. Supporting and inhibiting factors in character development based on the Qur'an for students of MAN 2 Bulukumba vary. Sometimes it arises from students who have diverse school backgrounds, and different ways of capturing students, other factors are due to the lack of available learning time. Often, the extracurricular activities for BTQ (Quran reading and writing) or Tahfiz al-Quran are scheduled the same as other extracurricular activities.
